An Exceptional Ferrari 275 GTB/4 – Chassis 10379 - 1967 Barcelona Motorshow Car – Matching Numbers – Eu/Uk Taxes Paid
Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 1966, the Ferrari 275 GTB/4 is the embodiment of Italian elegance, engineering excellence, and motorsport heritage. As the first Ferrari road car to feature a four-cam V12 engine, the GTB/4 delivers a symphony of power and poise, with 300 horsepower coursing through its sculpted bodywork.
Designed by Pininfarina and crafted by Scaglietti, the 275 GTB/4 marries timeless aesthetics with uncompromising performance. Its long, sweeping bonnet, delicate chrome details, and iconic wire-spoke wheels evoke a golden era of grand touring — where style and speed coexisted in perfect harmony.
Beneath its refined exterior lies a transaxle layout for ideal weight distribution, independent rear suspension, and a chassis tuned for both road and race. Whether carving through mountain passes or gracing concours lawns, the GTB/4 remains a symbol of pure, unfiltered Ferrari spirit.
Exceedingly rare and eternally desirable, the Ferrari 275 GTB/4 is not merely a car — it is a moving sculpture, a collector’s dream, and a legacy written in red.
Originally delivered new to the esteemed Spanish Ferrari importer Tayre of Madrid, Chassis 10379 left the Maranello factory finished in the rare and captivating Rosso Rubino (106-R-12) over Beige Connolly Leather (VM 3218)—a truly distinguished specification.
First acquired by Mr. Comy in Spain, this motorcar remained on home soil, where it participated in the celebrated 6 Hours of Barcelona, finishing 9th in class under the skilled hands of Doncel and co-driver Llagostera. Like many of its kind, it eventually made its way to the United States, where it would begin a remarkable new chapter.
There, over the course of seven years, Chassis 10379 underwent a meticulous restoration under the expert care of Norbert Hofer at Grand Touring Classics in Long Beach, California. The process was enriched by collaborations with renowned specialists including Beckman Metalworks, Brandoli, and Interior Concepts.
Extensive documentation accompanies the car, including correspondence with Ferrari historians Marcel Massini and Keith Bluemel, with Massini’s comprehensive report further validating its provenance and significance.
Following its restoration, the car made an impressive return to the concours circuit, earning Platinum Awards at both Concorso Italiano and the Cavallino Classic between August 2014 and January 2015.
Now proudly returned to European shores, the car’s next chapter commenced in the United Kingdom, where revered Ferrari specialist Bob Houghton was entrusted with a complete engine rebuild—an investment of over €100,000—bringing the mechanicals to peak condition.
In November 2019, the car received its coveted Ferrari Classiche Certification, a testament to its authenticity and restoration excellence.
Currently displaying 66,500 km, with fewer than 1,200 km since the engine rebuild, this Ferrari 275 GTB/4 is presented in exceptional condition—mechanically and cosmetically—offering peace of mind rarely afforded with classic Ferraris of this era.
Chassis 10379 is accompanied by a U.S. title copy, Monaco registration, and a current UK V5.
This represents a rare and distinguished opportunity to acquire one of Ferrari’s most iconic berlinettas—expertly restored, Classiche-certified, and rich in provenance.
