To compare the Porsche Macan to the competition (Mercedes GLA, Range Rover Evoque, Audi Q5) is to immediately do it a disservice - this car drives significantly better (in the writer's opinion at least) than any similar SUV on the road. It feels firm around the corners and yet super smooth and comfortable at the same time. It's quick, to the point of being sports car like and the interior is superb. Even the steering wheel is an engineering masterpiece - round centre boss, leather trim, brushed chrome with 'L' shaped slots either side of the tactile controls!Inside you get quality black leather seats, all four are heated and the driver's and front passenger are electric/memory adjust. There are settings for everything from the front and rear wheel drive bias to 'Sport' and 'Off Road' driving modes. This one also has the PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) with adjustable ride height air suspension, Sport Plus option, panoramic roof with sun roof and Adaptive Cruise Control - this one is the highest spec Macan we've had by some distance!The car has been inspected in our workshop, and will have a new MOT.
