1953 Jaguar XK120 OTS
First registered in Devon on November 12, 1953, Jaguar XK120 OTS PTT 304 began its remarkable journey, finished in pastel green with a suede green interior. Over the years, it has been displayed at the Totnes Motor Museum and the World of Country Life Museum, won at the Wiscombe Hill Climb, participated in the Journées d’Automne, exhibited at the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court, and completed a 4,000km European tour in the Arlberg Classic Rally.
As a young mechanic, Mr. Harrison first saw the car delivered to A.C. Bulpin in 1953. Unable to afford it at the time, he finally purchased it from the original owner, Mr. Weaver, five years later, beginning a 60-year ownership. Harrison rallied the XK120 extensively, achieving Fastest Time of the Day at Wiscombe Hill Climb in 1966.
Throughout his ownership, the car evolved, receiving a tuned 3.8-liter engine with a lightened flywheel, wide sump, competition clutch, balanced crank, polished and ported head, and initially, an experimental Tecalemit fuel injection system—later replaced with twin SU carburettors.
In 2017, David Long acquired the car and successfully completed a 900-mile XK Owners Club Coastal Tour.
In 2025, renowned Jaguar specialist Guy Broad completed a comprehensive mechanical and body restoration, including a Broadsport 5-speed gearbox, with a B-type head, a 4.2 E-type 9.5" diaphragm clutch, and engine upgrades, resulting in a powerful 3.8-liter engine with a B-type cylinder head. pedal box extention, refurbished steering, full LED lighting, a complete pastel green respray, a retrimmed cockpit in Suede Green Connolly leather, and a new mohair hood and tonneau cover by Unravelled Coachtrim. In total over the last 5 years over £140,000 has been spent on the this car.
With just over 38,000 miles on the clock, the Jaguar is offered with a full service history, memorabilia, original plates, and tool kit, this XK120 presents a rare opportunity to own a beautifully restored example with outstanding provenance.
As with all our vehicles, an entire digital folder is available upon request and contains more images, walk-around videos, and scans of the service history. The car can also be viewed by appointment at our West London showroom.
