1976 DAIMLER DOUBLE SIX

This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at Wheeler Dealer Live 2025 on Sunday the 1st of June, Bicester Heritage, OX26 5HA.

As if the Daimler Double-Six was not luxurious enough already, a more generously equipped Vanden Plas version was also offered, which had a 4-inch longer wheelbase and a vinyl roof to further distinguish it from the regular model.

Hand-finished by Vanden Plas craftsmen the Double-Six featured unique colour schemes, Vanden Plas badges, a vinyl roof with chrome finisher at the rear, chrome-swage-line trim, chrome door mirrors, unique leather seats with individualised rear seats, boxwood inlaid interior wood trim, enhanced door trims, Birstall Evlan carpets, rear console cigar lighter and lambs wool over-rugs

This 1976 Series 2 is finished in Cashmere Gold with Tan Hide

Displaying a recorded mileage of just 44,932 which is believed to be true but cannot be verified.

Please note that the engine presently fitted is not the original unit, however, the original engine is included but is partially disassembled and will require collection from the vendors premises in Bristol post sale

Also to be supplied is a replacement headlining that will require fitting

Has formed part of a private collection in recent years with little use therefore an element of recommissioning is to be expected
