2012 MINI JOHN COOPER WORKS

Here is my cherished JCW N14 boasting an impressive spec, accompanied by a full service history and regular exterior and interior cleaning to keep it feeling new. Only filling up with premium unleaded, regular oil changes and matching Pzero tyres all around, it has been adored by me since July 2023 and 3 owners before, but I am now ready for a new adventure.

This JCW has been fitted with some very premium and rare modifications, all with receipts:

Akrapovic 100 cel downpipe

Akrapovic Evolution Line exhaust

Akrapovic carbon fibre tips

AEM induction kit with turbo heat shield

Custom ECU tune by Power Flow Exhausts

Turbosmart atmospheric blow-off valve (I kept the stock valve, which is in good condition)

The tune (October 2023) transformed the car, increasing fuel economy and delivering significant but safe power gains—an estimated 270 bhp and 400nm torque. This was accompanied by a res delete (original Akrapovic resonator included in sale), for a tasteful deep note. The full Akrapovic exhaust paired with the AEM induction has this car performing uniquely brilliantly.

In 2022, the car had its timing chain done out of caution.

In my ownership:

I have replaced the HPFP (September 2023).

Exhaust flexi, front brake pads, discs and sensor (October 2023)

Oil change, filter and rear Pzero tyres. Rear brake discs, pads, sensor, rear near side calliper and brake fluid (December 2023).

Oil sump, oil cooler, rocker cover gasket and coolant (February 2024).

An aftermarket dipstick was fitted so I can properly read the oil level (OEM ones are near impossible to read).

New fuse board (October 2024)

Oil change and filter (October 2024)

New clutch, master cylinder, slave cylinder, gear oil, pipe and clutch fork (Jan 2025).

Front brake pads (2025).

Oil and filter changes in between.

In April 2025, I replaced the rear wiper arm and blade due to wear and tear. I also replaced the bonnet release handle, as a hook in the mechanism snapped off.

I bought this specific JCW for my appreciation of the full Akrapovic exhaust and the contrasting leather and Alcantara dash. A factory extra I couldn't find elsewhere. I chose to get it custom-tuned to make the most of the modifications, and it feels like a proper track car, whilst still very much a daily.

I am in no rush to sell my mini and am still using it as my daily, so the mileage will increase. Mostly motorway miles as I commute to London, I am looking to buy an S2K for my next.
