2002 TVR Tuscan 4.0 Speed Six (engine rebuilt)

In stunning Ice Silver with Spider alloys with Silver Leather interior, only 21,255 miles, engine rebuilt by TVR Power at just 2541 miles. Extensive history going back to 2004, including invoice for the engine rebuild.
The Present owner purchased the car in March 2010 and it’s been on and off the road over the past 15 years, hence the low milage. In the last few years, it’s had many elements of recommissioning including the new ECU with RedRose Chip, new Catalytic converters and carbon fibre Cans, new AC Compressor pump along with lots of ancillaries like Tyres, Battery and Brakes pads and lines etc.
The chassis is in good condition as it is a very low milage car with just a few small rusted areas showing powder coat loss.
The last MOT was in June 2024 which it passed with one advisory that the fuel pump was loose which has been repaired.
The car was involved in an accident early in its life in 2003 where the front and the O/S rear where badly damaged, the insurance company registered it as a Cat C, due to the extent of damage, however as the chassis had no damage so the owner had the car repaired to a high standard as can be seen in the photos.
There are things that a new owner would want to do and are typical of any TVR of its age and so would make a great project for someone with basic mechanical skills. These works have been reflected in the advertised price.
Repair/Replace Immobilizer (presently bypassed)
Squeaking rear window and roof – Upgrade clamps and rubbers.
Diagnosis I alert indicating oil temperature sensor open however the dash does indicate the oil temperature when warmed up.
Springs are rusty so new owner may wish to replace them in the future however does not compromise the ride, which is firm.
Paint cam cover and maybe replace air intake box and update cooling hoses.
O/S Rear window leather trim has evidence of rodent damage.
Various small marks on paintwork
Trim around dash needs securing.
Rear covers on the seats coming away – very common issue on Tuscans.
Stereo and speakers need updating if new owner not content with the fabulous noise from the engine !
This is a ferocious car and enjoys being driven hard, the sound on over run is just superb, known to scare horses and small children but makes any true Petrolhead smile whenever it goes by with all the above completed this will easily be a £27,000 car, Grab a bargain.
