This is a highly sought after PASM Suspension and 6-speed manual gearbox flat-6 3.4 litre mid engined Cayman S, finished in striking Arctic Silver metallic with Full Black Leather Interior. Background

The facelift version of the Porsche Cayman was introduced in February 2009. The Cayman S gained direct injection and a 25bhp increase to 320bhp, compared to the first generation version. The new engine does away with the Intermediate Shaft, which proved to be a weak link in pre-2009 engines, and has new cylinder coatings which are not prone to prematurely wearing or bore scoring. The front bumper was redesigned along with new front and rear lights, with the addition of daylight running lights in the front bumper.

Exterior

Our hand selected Cayman S looks stunning finished in Arctic Silver Metallic, a timeless Porsche colour, glistens in the sunshine with metallic flecks of silver, grey and gold. The striking 19-inch 911 Turbo I alloy wheels are diamond cut with metallic grey barrels and black Porsche Crests. They are the perfect complement to the paintwork. The side vents are finished in Arctic Silver. All the trim has a perfect finish, as do the front and rear lights. The windows drop as they should when you open the door. The engine and boot struts also operate as they should.

Interior

The Cayman S comes with full leather comfort seats that have height adjustment and electric backs. All of the Black interior leathers are in excellent condition and provide a perfect contrast to the Arctic Silver bodywork. There are no marks or signs of wear to any of the trim parts, panels or switchgear, with the leather retaining a wholly fresh appearance throughout.

Engine and Transmission

Our Cayman S is equipped with the 3.4 litre DFI flat six engine. The Cayman S engine produces 320bhp and 273ft-lb of torque. The axle load distribution of approximately 45:55 ensures high directional stability and superb road behaviour. The engine starts cleanly when cold or hot, there is no smoke whatsoever either at startup or when driving. There are no unusual sounds or rattles when the engine is running.

With its compact design and low weight, the 911 derived 6-speed manual gearbox is a simple, direct way to tap into the power of the Cayman S.

Wheels, Tyres and Brakes

Our Cayman S comes fitted with the 19-inch 911 Turbo I lightweight alloy wheels which have diamond cut faces with metallic grey barrels and spokes. The brakes are phenomenal, with factory Guards Red callipers and PORSCHE lettering in white, cross drilled and vented discs front and rear with plenty of life left in them. The tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport high performance tyres, with lots of tread remaining.
