2000 JAGUAR XKR

Just arrived! A very special limited edition Jaguar model of only 50 made in Convertible form. The “Silverstone” was a genuine limited-edition Jaguar XK8 with only 100 produced – 50 Coupes and 50 Convertibles. It celebrated Jaguar’s return to F1 racing at Silverstone.

Based on the already superb specification of the XKR, the new Jaguar was given enhancements both in performance and design. The cars were all finished in a Platinum silver paint finish with a complementing black hood and carried the new unique Silverstone badging. Complemented by a new special leather piped sports interior and a unique “smoke” stained maple veneer facia, the car was given an upgraded chassis and braking system designed by the Jaguar Special Vehicle Operations team (SVO), this included Brembo brakes and sophisticated CATS system (Computer Active Technology Suspension).

More noticeable are the superb 20in diameter BBS “Detroit” wheels with ultra low profile tyres. Being ten inches wide at the rear and nine inches wide at the front meant this particular XKR had a menacing stance whilst maintaining the best handling production car of its class. The engine is a 370bhp supercharged 4.0 litre AJ-V8 which can accelerate the 0-60 in around 5.2 seconds.

This rare beast has only covered 47,000 miles rom new and comes with a full service history. The next lucky owner will take delivery of this ultra-rare Jaguar following a fresh service and MOT. Finally taking away the piece of mind of our 6 months warranty.
