Lotus Elise 160 Sport 2000 (August)

Starlight Black Metallic. ONLY 22600 Documented Miles!!! 2 Owners from new (Currently owned for 23 Years), Red Alcantara Sport Interior (unique to the 160 Sport S1), including red Alcantara covered door cards (extra option). Dry miles for all the 23 years of ownership. All MOT certs, no advisories. All handbooks and paperwork, including old tax discs! CD with parts manual and service manual on it. Road use only never used on track.

Anyone who has driven a 160 Sport will know in standard form how lumpy the idle and low revs drivability is consequently compromised. This 160 has the following engine improvements which transform the engine to run smoothly and rev cleanly from idle to the red line. Throttle response is astounding the engine has been transformed and improved over standard by the following work and replacement parts. All engine work was carried out by the well-known and respected DVA Power at approx 7k miles:

QED throttle bodies, Emerald ECU, Cold air intake, K&N filter, EBD exhaust (sounds wonderful). Rolling road readouts available (163 BHP @ 6844 RPM / 131 lbft torque @ 5723). Leads to connect laptop to ECU. Racing MG alternator adjuster. Comprehensive file of work and servicing. Belts all serviced recently. NOTE: All the original 160 Sport parts which were removed during the engine improvement work have been kept and carefully stored. If you are a purist and want to go back to the original poor driveability all the parts, brackets etc are available for the new owner.

Suspension: All original Lotus parts and set up. Adjustable front roll bar etc.

Brakes: Original for the car and benefit from being drilled as standard with Green Stuff road pads. Extremely good with loads of feel.

Wheels: Are the original Victory alloys and excellent, only one has a mark on it and it has had that since I bought the car. (See photos) Advan Neovo tyres have loads of tread.
