Fiat 124 Spider CS 1800

This lovely 1978 Fiat 124 CS Spider - Chassis No: 124CS10100257 was supplied new by Continental Imports in San Diego, California and first registered to a Miss Nina Mirabile in San Diego on 12th September 1975. The car spent all of its life in California until being sold and exported to the UK in 1994 where it was registered with the number plate NPH 975P on 26th April 1994. The car has an extensive history file which contains all its original Fiat owners warranty and service book, guarantee cards, letters from Fiat and some invoices + an extensive file of invoices for works and restorations carried out here in the UK since it arrived. It has had substantial sums spent on it with a number of specialists including Fiat 124 specialist DTR Sportscars + it was actually valued for insurance purposes by ourselves back in May 1994 as we were also sales specialists of this model throughout the 1990's. It was the subject of a restoration back in 2005 and works included both body & paint and some mechanical works and it is mechanically excellent and rust free and drives superbly. The current owners bought the car in 2018 and over the last 7 years it has had a new/refurbished interior including seats and carpets and door cards and a new Soft Top. However, due to it not being driven and enjoyed enough now, the owners have decided to sell the car and we have just been given the car to prepare and sell on their behalf. Unfortunately, the paint had started to peel on a number of panels - tops of wings, bonnet and boot lid, so it was decided to repaint the car to make it look perfect and to match its new interior and Soft Top, so it is currently being repainted in our bodyshop (photo's shown) and we hope it will be finished and ready to go in mid May 2025.
