Abarth

Background:

Ferrari don't often collaborate with external manufacturers, but when they do, the result is rather astonishing. In the late 2000s, Ferrari partnered with Abarth to create the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari — certainly a far more exciting collaboration than Aston Martin’s Toyota iQ-based Cygnet.

Based on the then outgoing Abarth 500, the 695 received a host of technical upgrades including stiffer suspension, 284 mm Brembo brake discs with 4-pot callipers and a freer-flowing 'Record Monza' sports exhaust. An upgraded Garrett turbocharger was also fitted to the 1.4-litre T-Jet engine, increasing the output from 135bhp to 180bhp. To top it all off, it was cosmetically overhauled with Ferrari Challenge-style wheels, Rosso Corsa paint and of course, Scuderia stripes.

The Car:

In 2010, chassis #553 rolled out of the Fiat Mirafiori factory, destined for the UK and its first owner, who covered the bulk of the mileage in the car's first six years. The car then passed to its second and current owner, who has covered the remaining 3,000 miles, storing the car in dry conditions throughout his custodianship.

The engine, gearbox and running gear are in tip-top condition having been consistently maintained. While the exterior shows light age-related marks, the overall condition is notable.

The interior is in excellent condition, with little to no signs of wear on the front seats, door cards or carpets, while the carbon-fibre trim inlays retain their lacquer.

The car retains the original handbooks with Abarth-branded sleeves, the full luggage set and the custom car cover provided by the factory. The car also come with excellent service history, only lacking years during lockdown.
