Ferrari 308 GTB Sprint Pack

This is a 1979 Ferrari 308 GTB (carburettor and dry sump engine) with a Ferrari factory supplied Sprint Pack fitted by Nigel Mansell Sportscars in 1991 (Official Ferrari Dealer at the time) This comprised of Daytona LM Pistons, machined and polished cylinder heads, 4 x Sprint camshafts, then all engine parts balanced before being rebuilt and refitted. Also larger carburettor venturi and jets, sports exhaust system, upgraded brake pads, 16″ sports wheels and tyres, red crackle finish airbox, and yellow painted brake calipers. Power was increased from 240 to 290 BHP! Only 5 cars were believed to be fitted with a Sprint pack when launched (owners would have to drive their car for 3000mls before returning the car to their supplying dealer to have this work done) and so this is extremely rare. All this plus more is recorded in a fascinating and detailed service history file accompanying the car.
