1995 TVR GRIFFITH

TVR Griffith 500 with power steering.

So I am one of those sad people who enjoys working on cars more than driving them and this project has now come to a end after replacing everything to make her 100% reliable and a pleasure to drive.

She looks absolutely stunning in Goodwood green metallic ( which is black in most lights.) with Doeskin hide trim.

The chassis and outriggers are solid with a small amount of surface rust as you would expect from a nearly 30 year old car. (see photos)

I have a large folder of invoices and history including the original handbook.

Here is a list of the work and new parts that have been replaced in the last 2 years.

Engine refresh including new camshaft

front wishbones and bushings

discs and pads all round

tires front and back

battery, starter motor and isolator.

Distributor cap, rotor, leads ,plugs and heat shields

exhaust heat blankets

power steering pump and hoses

brake master cylinder

clutch master cylinder and slave

mass airflow sensor

All carpets

Radiator, stainless pipes and silicon hose set

Full service , engine oil and filter, fuel filter ,gearbox oil, diff oil and brake fluid.

Car is situated on the Isle Of Wight, short ferry ride from Southampton.
