ASTON MARTIN VIRAGE VOLANTE 1993

I am reluctantly selling my beloved Aston Martin Virage Volante due to my worsening disability. It is I believe, probably the best available. It is in superb, completely original condition and has a unique and beautiful custom, factory ordered colour scheme and an extensive maintenance and history file.
Only 44,464 miles from new (verified by the history)
MOT to 30th March 2026
Only 2 previous owners
Unique and beautiful factory paint in Porsche Amazon Green
In superb, gleaming condition inside and out
Extraordinarily detailed and comprehensive service history
Supplied and delivered new to an enthusiast in Jersey, who maintained it regardless of cost, even going so far as having Works Service collect the car to attend to its every need, the Virage Voante has continued to be maintained meticulously, and its service history is extensive (there are three service books to accommodate the stamps), with the large proportion of it’s maintenance, carried out by Aston Martin Works Service.
The Virage/V8s, were the last coach-built Aston Martins to be constructed at the historic Newport Pagnell works, and represent the last of a very important era in British luxury sports cars. The engine of this particular car was built by Terry Durston, who was well know for his work on premium builds such as V8 Vantage V600 Le Mans. The head of the Heritage at Newport Pagnell tells me he remembers this Virage being delivered to it’s first owner, and I have also spoken to one of the engineers who helped build the car in 1993. It is still being cared for by the team there.
This car is in beautiful, original, and unrestored condition and has been kept in a custom-built temperature and humidity-controlled facility since I bought it in 2017. It is painted in custom, factory, Porsche Amazon Green, with an immaculate magnolia interior, original headrest cushions, a Spruce Green upper dashboard, and burr walnut facia. It has green wilton carpets with beige overlays. The 17 inch five-spoke wheels are in immaculate condition and the tyres are the correct, original specification Avon Turbospeed CR228-D.
Factory specification includes cruise control, a multifunctional steering wheel, an electrically operated convertible roof, switchable sport mode, air conditioning, (upgraded by Aston Works to modern specifications) and electrically adjustable and heated front seats. A modern Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth, USB, and auxiliary inputs has been fitted.
With the car are its original owner's handbooks, tools, service books (three, to accommodate the number of services), original sales receipts, a heritage certificate, a Magnolia and Spruce-piped tonneau cover, two sets of keys, the build sheet, and extensive additional service paperwork documenting the vehicle's history. The vehicle has no bodywork damage, and paintwork is in superb overall condition, with only a very few minor stone chips, as you would expect from an original car.
Inside, the cabin remains in superb condition, with minimal signs of wear, with just a tiny bit of creasing on the driver's seat edge and minor discolouration around the handbrake lever.
When I bought the car in 2017, I sent it to Aston Martin Works Service, and asked them to carry out a full, major service and to correct any defects, however minor. I also asked them to replace all hoses, and sound-proofing as it was showing some wear. Items replaced in addition to the service were, a throttle cable, track rod ends, HT leads, a battery, vacuum hoses, three tonneau cover studs. Also carried out was a conversion of the air conditioning to modern 134a refrigerant. Extensive detailing work was also carried out by Aston Martin Works, with technicians consistently praising the car's impressive condition during their inspections.
I am not aware of any mechanical faults, the dashboard displays no warning lights, and the car starts immediately and runs smoothly. Its most recent MOT test in March of 2025 resulted in a first-time pass with no warnings or advisories. The car’s last service was performed 31 miles ago in August 2023 at 44,433 miles by JD Classics, and this included new plugs, vacuum hoses, and battery, with its previous service being carried out by Aston Martin Works, Newport Pagnell, in 2022 at 44,197 miles .
On a personal note, I absolutely love this car, the colour is extraordinary and it looks so beautiful, it makes me smile every time I see it. It runs so smoothly, as if it were new in fact. When I take it out, so many people stop and ask me about it. I’m so very sad to sell, but I’m disabled and can no longer drive it regularly, and it deserves to be used and adored. I really hope that the new owner will appreciate it and look after it for years to come.
Please contact me for more information and photos, however the car is even better in the flesh, and I strongly recommend viewing.
