Background:

Bodied in lightweight aluminium and styled to echo the iconic E-Type, the X150 XK8 is the modern classic convertible that drives as well as it looks, thanks to Aston Martin’s Ian Callum’s fine design work. The X150 was the second and final generation of the Jaguar XK 2+2 grand tourer dynasty, which built on the success of the XK8 and carried off the same concept in a modern, World-beating package.

The Car:

This beautiful  2010 XKR Convertible rolled off the production line in 2012,  finished in Ultimate Black with Warm Charcoal interior. Crucially it is powered by the much sought after 5-litre V8 engine, which delivers well over 500bhp.

The specification with mouth watering boasting; Bluetooth interface connect ,R- Performance brakes, universal garage door opener, Bower and Wilkins 44-W premium sound, luxury trim, adaptive speed control, sport suspension , tyres pressure sensor and all finished with 20" Kalimnos Alloys.

The service book has seven stamps and he last main agent stamp (one of six) was in 2017, but evidence of work since then is clear, including new supercharger water pipes.

The car drives, runs and shifts beautifully and requires nothing have just been serviced. Supplied with a long MOT until January 2026, a service book with seven stamps, two keys, SatNav discs for Europe and wallet with instruction book.
