This special Lotus Elan has been upgraded during which benefited from a beautifully presented engine upgrade to 220BHP. Having a throaty straight through tuned stainless steel exhaust it also sounds incredible.

The hard top is easy to remove and has a heated rear window.

The soft top roof also operates well and the fabric is in good order.

The alloys have also been upgraded to 17" with new low profile tyres all round and gold uprated brake calipers. Bluetooth stereo inc handsfree calling.

In June 2008 (17 years ago) at 30k miles the car was registered as a Cat D damaged repairable.The car was completely repaired to lotus standard that year and since has clocked up over 80k trouble free miles.

Five years ago this little rocket was then mechanically restored once more with a new chassis, engine rebuild with upgraded modifications, larger alloys and brake callipers. This lotus is good for another 80k trouble free miles at least.
