BMW 3 SERIES (E46) M3 MANUAL WITH ALL MAJOR WORK DONE 2004

Ex BMR performance Ltd at Turners Hill directors own car and as a result its probably one of the best sorted ones on offer for sale. You will see why when you read the list of parts renewed and replaced by him.

I bought the car for my wife last summer given I know BMR and the standard of their workmanship and the fact the previous owner and BMR director is a friend of mine. The plan was for my wife to use it during the better weather but due to her having a chronic illness the M3 has only done 400 miles in our ownership so has been on a trickle charger in the garage. So given the lack of use and constant medical bills we have decided to let the M3 go.

I have included photo’s of the full list of works but to provide an over view of the “big ticket items” that were replaced are as follows:

Royal steering wheel re trim.

4 x brand new BMW sourced genuine alloy wheels

4 x new Michelin pilot 4s tyres

Rebuilt Vanos unit

Full service and consumables replaced.

Engine and cylinder head gaskets replaced

New timing chain & tensioners

New thermostat

90AH battery

Leather handbrake lever cover & new gear stick

Exhaust gaskets, nuts, bolts, new chrome tail pipe tips

Brake pipes replaced

Shock absorbers replaced

New front fog lights

Brand new front wings

Brand new front bumper (rather than stone chip repair)

New body parts re painted by Impact Bodywork whose quality is well known within specialist classic and sports car works.

The wheels are still looking brand new with no corrosion, kerbing or clouding beneath the lacquer.

No bodywork corrosion. New windscreen fitted by autoglass in March 25 due to a large stone chip.

The car has an upgraded head unit. This was done when we purchased the car and we do not have the original.

The car has Harmon Kardon, BMW wind deflector and all other M3 equipment including fitted carpet matts.

The car is kept clean and polished in our garage by me and ready to be viewed.

I am a fussy enthusiast and for transparency would say that the only slight negative is that the stitching on the front seats in places is looser than it would have been from factory when new. But it does not affect the comfort or useability of the seats.

File of old MOT’s and service history accompanies the car along with handbooks.

This truly is a lovely car that I am sure the new owner will enjoy. Please no stupid offers or part exchange.

Current Mot expires 24.06.25 so I am happy to provide a fresh MOT on the car once a sale is agreed.
