ALFA ROMEO 159 3.2 V6 Q4 LUSSO 2007

The time has finally come to sell the mighty 159. 3.2 V6, Manual, Q4, 97k miles. I've owned this since early 2021, having purchased it from my old man who'd had it for around three years prior. It's mainly been a second car in my ownership, currently sharing a driveway with a Giulia QV, and just doesn't get used enough to justify the space it takes up. With the Q4 four-wheel drive and nearly new Conti Rain Sports, it's the perfect all-weather, all-season tool.

Fresh MOT, recent coil packs and spark plugs, new rear calipers, almost new discs and pads, recent rear shocks, subframe replaced, recent alternator, new battery. Loads of old invoices and receipts for lots of money spent over the years keeping it in great condition and ensuring there's plenty of miles left in her for the next owner to enjoy.

Regular oil and filter changes in our family ownership with fully synthetic Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 5W-40.

Sony XAV-1005DB head unit professionally installed, provides DAB and Apple Car Play. I've probably got the original head unit somewhere if wanted by the next owner.

Bodywork looks amazing in red, no scrapes, dings, scratches or dents. Tan leather interior is also in fantastic condition. The alloys would benefit from a tidy up if you were seeking perfection, but other than that it really is in amazing condition.

In the interests of full disclosure, there are a few minor niggles / manifestations of Italian character to keep the alfa-enthusiast occupied:

- Alternator light has been on since it had a new alternator at around 78k miles. It's never bothered me and is charging perfectly.

- Electronic steering lock is playing up, sometimes needs a good tug on the steering wheel to get it to disengage and allow the car to start. I'll aim to get this sorted prior to letting the car go.

- Slight rumble in offside front wheel bearing, picked up as an advisory at last MOT.

- Oil Temperature Gauge doesn't work (they never do in these) as the car was basically built around the sender and it's pretty much an engine-out job to repair!

- Rear parking sensors work intermittently.

Everything else works as intended - self dimming rear view mirror, auto headlights, auto wipers, air con, heated seats, electric front seats etc.

I think these are a really under rated car, great to drive and look at. I've really enjoyed owning and driving it and hope it goes to someone who will keep it up together.
