PORSCHE 911 SC 3.0

NOW SOLD. My 1979 911 SC 3.0 in Minerva Blue with tan 'Bay City Rollers' tartan interior. Right hand drive (because I'm British and we drive on the correct side of the road).

It's a Sport so rubber whale tail (one year only), sports steering wheel, Hellas, 16" Fuchs and super desirable factory sport seats which are worth about £5k on their own.

This car is the 'Kate Moss' of 911s. It is beautiful and very cool and, as it was born in the 70's, it has now reached an age where that beauty requires a little cosmetic assistance. In other words, it's still a head turner and a bit of a goer but a trip to Dr Botox would not go amiss.

I bought 'Kate' from Oli at Bure Valley Classics 18 months ago as a project. It had been stored unused for 17 years.

It needs paint (the pics here are designed to be honest) but aside from that this 80,000 mile icon drives fabulously as I have spent about £8,000 on induction and set up to get it running perfectly. Acceleration is great, it drives solidly at any speed, steering and brakes are excellent and I've just replaced the oil tank and shocks too (Bilsteins all round).

It recently passed its MOT first time with no advisories (more than can be said for supermodels, probably).

You will paint this car so don't come to look at it and then tell me it needs paint. I was quoted £10k to do that but I now want to sell it as I am consolidating my collection of seven Porsches.
