BMW 3.0 CSL : Taiga Green : Long Term Ownership

This stunning Taiga Green 3.0 CSL was manufactured and imported into the UK at the end of December 1972 and eventually registered in August 1973 - common at the time due to the very high price of the car which was almost double that of a V12 Jaguar E-Type when new. ​

​It received a high quality restoration in the late 90s which has stood the test of time as the car presents extremely well. It has been stored with us by the same owner since 2004 and it has received continuous maintenance throughout that time including the following:

Replacement clutch

Brake and steering overhaul

Engine rebuild including hardened valve seats

Stainless steel exhaust system

Scheel headrests

Suspension overhaul

Brake servo

Electronic ignition conversion (original parts kept)

Refurbished brake calipers fitted

​It has a large service history file with many old invoices and a photographic history of the body restoration that was carried out in the late 90s. There is a selection of spare parts that will come with the car which includes a replacement pair of door panels free of speaker holes (at present a stereo is fitted) ​

​The car has featured in magazines multiple times over the last 20 years and also been shown in various local BMW dealerships.
