By November 980 it had not been sold and was invoiced to the London Ferrari agents HR Owen who registered JYN226W to themselves as a demonstrator on 29th May 1981.
The ‘first’ owner was 17 year old director of a shipping company Mr V T of London who bought the car from Jonathan Kaiser of HR Owen, following the A service which was carried out in July 1981 at 1100 miles. Whilst in HR Owen’s ownership the car featured on an advertising post card for HR Owen outside of Buckingham Palace…..Maintainance continued with HR Owen firing Mr VT ‘s ownership.

The last owner 47 year old Mr P B then of Middlesex bought the car from AR Cars of Leytonstone with 48000 miles on the 30th of January 1991 where it joined 5 other cars in his collection , including an E type roadster and a 1958Chevrolet Corvette, the car was used sparingly , however in 2005 it went to Colin Clarke Engineering for a comprehensive service and check over resulting in two bills one for £3793.32 and the other for £7396.52 these included the fitment of a complete stainless exhaust and manifolds. ( The above research was compiled by Mike Wheeler The Ferrari Specialist) with thanks…
The car remained in a heated garage until recently with the engine turned and brakes kept free on a regular basis.
