1958 JAGUAR XK 150 3.4 SE

Producing one of the first sports cars that could comfortably cruise at over 100 mph for miles on end was clearly a difficult task in 1950 and Jaguar achieved it before anyone else with great success.
The XK was a highly desirable machine and with its racing Provence and amazing twin cam engine it was the car to own.
By the time the XK 150 was released it was much more refined and as the predecessor to the new E Type they specified them well and the last years of production were SE models.
This lovely original RHD SE was delivered in January 1958 to a UK company owner and enjoyed many years of good service before being totally restored in 2014 to a very high standard and subsequently a major engine rebuild costing £11000.
The standard of restoration was very high and she presents beautifully today and has been cherished by her owners.
The history file is good including a Heritage certificate confirming she still has the original engine fitted.
Recent expenditure includes Guy Broad upgraded brakes and rolling road set up.
On the road she is a very special car with super performance and long legs for cruising with the Moss overdrive gearbox making progress easy.
Supplied fully inspected, serviced with 12 months warranty.
