We purchased the car in 2020 from a chap who knew the Toyota UK Head technician (this actual car was previously owned by Toyota and used in their training centre (please see attached pics) hence its impeccable condition and very high spec). This is my wife’s car “Lexi” as she is affectionally known and is being offered for sale as she has just put a deposit on her new car (Porsche Panamera as she wanted a hatchback). I am a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, I now have my own engineering business but I worked previously as a suspension design engineer in both the UK and Europe.

The car has been maintained exclusively by Lexus trained professionals either Main Dealers or an Ex Lexus Master Technician who is one of the North Wests leading Lexus specialists.

The car is also unusual in that it was previously owned by Lexus and used in their training facility to train their mechanics and technicians. This has meant that a number of parts and system were inspected and replaced on the car by Lexus to train and reaccredit their technicians so it has had even more work done that just a FSH and likely why it has been so reliable and drives so well.

Gearbox professionally serviced by ZF accredited Gearbox specialist Austrin, very few examples have this done as in theory the gearbox is “sealed for life” however over time the oil performance breaks down and that can lead to gearbox problems, not in this case. The gear changes on any Lexus are smooth but on this example are silky smooth and almost indistinguishable it really is that impressive. These guys are the best in the UK and their technicians visit ZF in Germany for annual training and reaccreditation, gearbox servicing and work is a specialist area of expertise and these guys have always worked on all of my cars over the years.

“Lexi” is unmodified with all factory OEM parts (no uprated stainless exhausts or blingy wheels like many have been subjected to) all personal taste but this car is actually as Lexus intended it when it left the factory.

Specification Highlights Include:

• Full Black Heated leather (many are cream or light and now look grubby and tired) in excellent condition very limited wear and no damage (please see photos)

• Dash and door trims are dark coloured (again a number of GS models have light birch coloured wood which can age the look of the car IMHO)

• Radar Guided adaptive cruise control (yes really) a 2005 car that tracks and maintains the distance to the car in front and automatically applies the brake and accelerator, this system is far more advanced than many on modern cars and would have been lights years ahead back in 2005. This makes driving the car for long distances very safe and less tiring

• Adaptive suspension for comfort and sport settings.

Points for Consideration if the new owner was being very particular: Some of the wheels are showing minor signs of paint bubble, there is small pin sized dink next to the boot (could be removed with paintless dent removal). Small crank in front bumper under grill where I slowly nudged too far into the garage not long after we bought it (much to my wife’s disappointment) only noticeable upon inspection. Small amount of under surface corrosion on the leading edge of the bonnet due to stone chipping (not broken the surface)

I have never seen a V8 GS430 petrol with this colour and options spec, the condition of the car and the driving experience are genuinely exceptional likely owing to the extensive and comprehensive maintenance and service history.

Please note my wife will be retaining her private plate shown in the pictures so Lexi will return to original 05 reg
