2009 Lotus Evora NA 2+2 Launch Edition – Extremely well maintained, Sensible upgrades

For sale is my excellent condition Launch Edition Evora 2+2 – this is the top spec naturally aspirated Evora from the period, with the desirable Premium, Sport and Tech packs, plus factory options including the Sports Ratio gearbox and Stage 1 Lightweight Sports exhaust with Titanium tips.

Originally a Lotus management car, the two “big ticket” items have already been addressed. The clutch has been replaced by Lotus, together with the gearbox (replaced with the post-2012 unit which is completely trouble free).

I’m an ex-Lotus factory engineer and I’ve gradually improved the car over my ownership to arrive at one of the best examples out there, both cosmetically and mechanically.

A note about mileage - The 3.5L Toyota V6 engine has an excellent track record with no known issues, and proven durability if correctly maintained (>200,000 miles in various Toyota and Lexus models).

Over nearly three years of ownership I have driven 10,000 amazingly entertaining miles in this car including two trips to the Alps and the whole car has been perfectly reliable.

Below is a list of the work undertaken in my ownership (since 2022) - and in addition there is a full supporting service history, together with both keys and full book pack. The MOT is valid until June 2025, but it will also have a fresh MOT before sale.

Powertrain:

- BoE CAI fitted (the best cold air induction available for Evoras – sounds incredible)

- 3rd Cat delete (even better exhaust note, improved flow – the 3rd cat is not required for MOT and was deleted on later cars at the factory!)

- Gearbox oil changed

- Clutch fluid changed

- Pollen filter replaced

- Spark plugs replaced

- Gear linkage upgraded with rose joints (made an amazing difference)

- Clutch pipe heat shield fitted

- Cleaned MAF sensor

- Battery trim clips / nuts replaced

- Trickle charger cables for CTEK

Cooling:

- New radiator

- Full Coolant change

- New Air con condenser

- New Air con compressor and serpentine belt

- Air con recharge

- New Exhaust vent tube

Chassis:

- Four new Michelin PS5 tyres

- Full four wheel alignment / geometry

- New brake discs and pads front and rear

- Brake fluid changed

- New handbrake cable and shoes

- New ARB bushes front and rear

Exterior:

- Professional body shop re-spray in January ’25 to front bumper and clam – now stone chip-free!

- Additional areas also re-sprayed as above to rectify minor marks

- Full machine polish and seal - the metallic element really sparkles

- Wheels professionally refurbished

- Headlights refurbished and re-lacquered

- New TPMS valves

- All grilles refurbished in original black

- New Stainless steel mudflap brackets

- New Tailgate struts

- Rear light surrounds refinished in black

- Door Striker plate refurbished

- New wheel centres and nose badge in black and silver

- Undertray and diffuser refresh plus stainless fixings

Interior:

- Major audio upgrade comprising wireless Apple CarPlay head unit (Android Auto too), Bose door speakers, Kef tweeters, new amp and sub – sounds fantastic.

- LED interior light upgrade

- New genuine Lotus carpet mats with original Evora badging

- Air surround vents refinished in black

I believe I have priced the car very competitively considering the upgrades and extensive recent maintenance carried out, but I am also open to sensible offers near the asking price.
