LOTUS ELISE LOTUS SPORT 135R Build 006 2003

Having previously owned an Elise S1 I was attracted to what I consider the purest S2 to ever be made, the 135R. A perfect mix of lightness and useable power for fun.

This limited production run special 135R in Mica Silver has only covered just over 18,000 miles and is in very good condition, and the best colour, although I haven't covered that many miles, I've enjoyed every minute. This car is build no.6 of approximately 100.

Created by Lotus Sport back in 2003 it's lighter, handles better and performs greater than the standard Elise S2. Colour coded all round with a special Alcantara interior and Black OZ Alloys. This developed the ultimate road and track car.

You may notice on my photographs the different rear end (delete), this was how the car was when I purchased it, also has a lightweight Quicksilver Exhaust I love it, but it comes with the original parts (not the standard exhaust) if you were to replace the rear panels.

I have never had the car on the track, some say that is sacrilege however, I did have the power measured on a rolling road where it produced 142 bhp.

Other than services it's had some age-related updates, Alcantara seats re-backed and cushioned with slightly thicker sponge, gear linkage update (standard not short shift) and new battery. New Bluetooth head Unit.

It also has front end and side 'thick' clear old school PPF which has been on since before my ownership so stone chips are minimal.

These beautiful things will never be made again, I wouldn't be parting with it if I didn't have to. I have priced it to sell based on other 135's I've seen over the last 12 months.
