Accompanying this McLaren Senna GTR are two large bespoke flight cases, the contents of which demonstrate the significant task undertaken by the experts at Lanzante in Petersfield whilst fully road-converting and road-registering this example. Carried out at a cost north of £230,000, the road conversion process covers everything from the addition of catalytic converters and standardised fuelling system to the fitment of Senna road car seats, Thatcham Category 1 alarm and locking doors! The result means this example is supplied with a UK V5 certificate of registration and conformity. Furthermore, in the search of convenience and practicality, the front axle lifting system from the Senna road car was also added in, along with headlights, reversing light, electronic parking brake, and a revision suspension setup for great compliance on the road.

On top of the standard conversion, this example received the Lanzante D-shape steering wheel at a further cost of £12,500, specially designed for more ergonomic handling on longer drives. The accompanying flight cases contain all of the parts removed from the conversion process; not limited to the original FIA specification Halo seats, non-catalysed downpipes, original OZ Racing wheels with wets as well as original OZ Racing wheels with slick tyres.

This Senna GTR presents today with just 125 km from new. Presented in its vibrant quad-colour livery, this example original saw inspiration from RX-78-2 Gundam piloted by Amuro Ray from debut series of the Japanese anime legends Gundam Warriors. At the time of the road conversion, the interior further received bespoke stitching in McLaren Orange.
