A genuinely stunning car that sounds and drives impeccably.

I am a member of both Avo and RS club and the previous owner is still a current RS owners club member and in their ownership since 2007.

Restored by a previous owner, with a photographic record of the body rebuild and full bare metal respray.

There are detailed pictures of the top end engine build in 2022 where the head was completely stripped down & skimmed and valves re-done. It starts first time and drives beautifully.

In the previous ownership the Escort had been a regular classic car show. I bought a Mexico because my father had one when he was young and it was a car i had wanted so we could go out together and share it, it transpires that all the rain last year and personal circumstances that never happened. I have been deliberating over this incredibly difficult situation and having a been flattened last year by a car on my bike and have had a major shoulder op and 12 months recovery it seems sensible to sell my pride and joy my mexico as i have no idea when i will be able to drive it again.

There is a vast history file accompanying the car, a photographic record of the restoration old MOT dating back back to 1979, The MOT's have been kept up annually although the car is now exempt from having tax & MOT.

There are many maintenance receipts and copies of past V5s.

Genuine MKI Mexico's are becoming increasingly hard to find nowadays with all the recreation's about, this car is a very good solid car & would grace any enthusiast's collection. She gets more looks and admiration than any Ferrari. Lots of history in the file from mot’s to invoices.
