M2 - improved to CS equivalent spec.

BMW M2 G87, Black Sapphire Metallic. Lovely condition, 2023 reg 14,000 miles.

Mature owner (60) very mechanically sympathetic, always thoroughly warmed through and allowed to cool. Garaged from new. I am the only owner from new.

Oil service carried out a year early as I don't trust the extended service durations.

Carried out by local specialists as I believe they do better than the dealer.

All recorded on the BMW database.

This car has been gradually improved to the point that i feel it is now the equivalent of a CS version BMW.

Initially I swapped the wheels for the forged wheels taken form a brand new M3

I then had the M Performance HAS spring kit fitted by Suspension Secrets with a geo set up which made quite an improvement over the misjudged standard arrangement.

Late in 2024 I had further improvements by Suspension Secrets with increased camber and caster at the front and increased camber at the rear (with adjustable camber plates and toe arms) . There is Youtube video by them on this car. I then had an MMR/MMX tuning module fitted by DRW which gives back the power taken from M3/M4 and raises to a safe +100hp.

(there is not change to DME so can be removed if required with no trace.

The car has turned from a fast sporty coupe to a proper sports car .

The handling is amazing with zero understeer now and lovely flat cornering with great steering feel and turning speed. Suspension is firmer than standard but not harsh and is great with the variable damping modes. Performance is lifted throughout the rev range with a nice rush to the redline.

The car is fully loaded as stock with lots of carbon fiber carbon roof etc. I also added the comfort pack which adds heated steering wheel and comfort access.

I have really enjoyed owning and improving the car but do find that with it being so quick and competent, I am wary of getting caught speeding. So have bought an MX-5 .....
