Restoration work totalling over £38,500 completed in 2023/2024, Presented in very good condition throughout, From a private collection, Registered new on 12th June 1973 this wonderful example is presented in Dubonnet Rosso coachwork over a cream leather interior and has recently been treated to much restoration work. The restoration was undertaken in 2023 by specialists Amazing Autos Ltd in South Wales with works including body repair where necessary and a full respray. A refit and restoration of the interior was also completed, along with a thorough mechanical overhaul including a refurbished radiator, fuel system clean, engine health check and inspection. At this time new crankshaft seals, cam cover gaskets, and a new thermostat were fitted. Further works were completed by Nicholas Mee Ltd in November 2024 costing £14,465, including a major service, new starter motor, rebuilt brake calipers, and an ignition timing set up and engine tune. As expected, following the restoration, the Aston is offered in very good condition throughout. The coachwork is presented in fine fettle with very few blemishes to note, although there are some minor imperfections to the sunroof. The chrome work is virtually unmarked and retains a deep shine throughout. The interior presents very well and the seats, headlining and dashboard are all very presentable, as to is the engine bay and underside which are both very clean. Accompanying the V8 is a history file containing many pictures of the works carried out, sundry bills, invoices relating to the restoration including the most recent from Nicholas Mee Ltd, along with its current UK registration document. Showing just 53,427 miles on the odometer and with the restoration work totalling over £38,500 this fine example is a joy to drive and is ready to be used immediately.
