ASTON MARTIN V8 Vantage Volante X Pack

Stratton Motor Company are pleased to be able to offer this stunning example of the much acclaimed tourer, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante X Pack.

This car represented the opportunity of 'Open Top' motoring at the hands of one of Aston Martin's most powerful engines.

The X-Pack denoted an uprated engine, larger carburettors, larger valve port6s and uprated camshaft profiles to increase the output to claimed 403bhp, quite remarkable for that era and even so by today's standards.

To cater for the extra power the car was further modified with larger ventilated brake discs and lower profile tyres. The 'Coupe' version had a 0-60mph of just 5.3 seconds so this would not be remarkably different although slightly heavier due to chassis modifications that have to be made to any convertible car.

Our car is finished in an unmarked beautiful 'Cumberland Grey' metallic coachwork and trimmed with a contrasting Mushroom Leather interior with Black Piping and a wealth of high gloss Walnut Veneers. It has a black 'Mohair' hood with Automatic Transmission.

First registered in October 1987 and showing just 72820 miles with 7 keepers since new and a comprehensive  history file, most of the cars service history with Aston Martin Works at Newport Pagnell.

The car, a very presentable investment, will be sold serviced with a Comprehensive Parts and labour warranty for 12 months along with RAC Roadside and Recovery for complete peace of mind.
