Mercedes CLK (209) CLK 55 AMG 2003

2003 CLK 55 AMG Cabriolet in Obsidian Black with black leather, heated seats and 82k miles benefitting from full Mercedes + Specialist service history.

Fitted with the incredible Mercedes 5.4 L V8 M113 engine and featuring the robust 5 speed AMG gearbox - essentially the same drivetrain as the CLK DTM minus the supercharger. 2003 was the year that Mercedes won the DTM with 9 out of 10 race wins and drivers such as Jean Alesi and Bernd Schneider - could be a future classic!

Benefitting from the following work within the last 2,000 miles - Full service incl. spark plugs and all fluids. New battery. Engine and gearbox mounts. Rear axle and parking brake rebuild. Roof refurbishment. Front suspension rebuild including wishbones and anti-roll bars. 4 x Bridgestone tyres and a full alignment.

Good points - mechanically in excellent working order with no leaks or rattles. Significant spend at Merc Medics, allowing me to use the car as a daily driver.

To do - Now the car is mechanically excellent, there are some minor cosmetics to deal with such as the bonnet needing to be re-lacquered (perhaps only partially if you know somebody clever). The good news is there is no visible rust on this w209 galvanised model Mercedes.
