The 914/6 was considerably quicker than its four-cylinder sibling. The 2,000cc flat-six engine’s 110hp output was identical to that of the 911T from which it came and meant the 914/6 could hit 60 mph in around 8 seconds. No matter how you slice it, the 914 is an air-cooled experience everyone should have a chance to savor. There’s no replacement for the feel of a 914, no matter the model.
