Furlonger are delighted to offer this profoundly rare right-hand drive Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, finished in Designo Mystic White 2 over a luxuriously upholstered Black Anthracite Leather and Red Alcantara interior.

Undoubtedly the most collectible and engaging version of the SLS, the Black Series pushes the boundaries of performance with race derived credentials for the road. With very limited production of just 300-350 units worldwide, this example is believed to be 1 of just 15 configured in right-hand drive. Enthusiasts and collectors alike are well acquainted with the Black Series marque, and know that it’s been assigned to just a handful of selected models since 2006. In short, the Black Series is essentially the transfer of AMG’s motorsport identity to street-legal road cars.

Over the standard SLS AMG, power was increased from 563 bhp to an astounding 622 bhp, with AMG decreasing the torque to 468 lb ft to make the car more useable. The SLS Black Series also received a new titanium exhaust saving 13kg, carbon ceramic brakes, modified power steering, active rear locking differential, a lithium-ion battery and an aerodynamic package which featured a carbon fibre rear wing which can be manually adjusted to increase rear downforce.

Delivered new to Mercedes-Benz Brunei (Jati Transport SDN BHD), this SLS AMG Black Series’ pre delivery inspection was conducted on 12/12/2013, and was tastefully configured with the following options; Designo Mystic White 2 paintwork, Antracite Black leather and Alcantara interior, rear-view camera, aerodynamics package, AMG sports seats, Red contrast stitching, Red seatbelts, Black Dinamica roof lining, high-end sound system, AMG performance steering wheel, AMG 5-spoke forged wheels in diamond cut finish, trim pieces – carbon high gloss, carbon fibre interior trim package, AMG exterior carbon fibre package, engine cover in carbon fibre, Command DVD APS with navigation, Performance media AMG data/race, automatic climate control, headlamp cleaning system, bi-xenon headlamps, universal telephone package, tyre pressure monitoring system, anti-theft system, AMG ride control system, AMG ceramic brake system, electrically folding wing mirrors, and more.

Used sparingly from its initial delivery, this car’s primary custodian would cover just a few thousand miles during his ownership, whilst having it routinely maintained by the supplying Mercedes-Benz dealer. In December of 2016 the car was sold and exported to the United Kingdom where it has remained to the present day. Its first scheduled maintenance in the UK was conducted via Brooklands Mercedes-Benz in November 2017 where the car received a ‘Service A with plus package’ at just 2,723 miles.
