THE MITSUBISHI LANCER EVOLUTION IX MR FQ-360 (2006)

A meticulously maintained Mitsubishi Evo FQ-360 for sale, a true enthusiast’s machine and one of the finest examples of rally-bred performance. This is a rare UK-spec model, renowned for its power and handling, delivering an exhilarating driving experience with 360 BHP from its 2.0L turbocharged engine from factory. This car is as original as you can get with no silly mods, only necessary parts to keep it up to date but it's as authentic as you can get. On the other hand if you are looking to create your own custom Evo dream, then think of this as a blank canvas. You can find the additions listed further down the page and they are mostly MR parts that you'll find on the HKS versions.

You could find yourself owning a bit of automotive history with a very unique story. This Lancer was one of only a handful which were auctioned off to the Mitsubishi UK team who worked on the cars once they were imported from Japan. Meaning that as you can see in the pictures, it comes with a load of official Mitsubishi paperwork from when the original owner looked after it. The second owner only had it for 2 years where he spent most the time and money simply looking after it. Nearly £15,000 was spent in work to refresh key parts that typically get overlooked with most owners focusing on big power numbers. The car was regularly serviced by Mitsubishi and Autotorque (full history available), stored in a garage and only filled up with Shell V-Power 99 octane fuel. It was safe to say the previous owner did not want to sell but with a new family member on the way, sadly this pride and joy had to move on.

- The protection underneath is one of the best you'll ever see to avoid corrosion and rust

- Mitsubishi Racing (MR) Bilstein Dampers all around. Took 4 months to be made from factory just like on the HKS versions.

- New top mounts

- Eibach springs (used on the MR) all around

- All rear bushes replaced with Powerflex Poly Bushes. Including ARB, rear lower arms (inner & outer), rear diff etc

- Superpro rear anti roll bar

- Rear diff oils

- Steering wheel re trim in full alcantara

- Michelin PS4's all around (plenty of tread left)

- New Speedline Turini wheels 8.5 X 18 ET35. The ET35 offset fills the arches perfectly (so much better than the 17 inch ones)

Since we (Roystons Automotive Classic Evolution 'RACE') found this absolute gem and took ownership very recently, we have driven it home, booked it in for a full service at a specialist Japanese Performance garage near us, cleaned it up a treat and parked it in our garage.
