2009 Caterham R400 (224bhp)
This 2009 car started off life as the R300 Caterham Cars demonstrator and was featured in Chris Rees' Magnificent 7 book. The car then went through a transformation to become the sister car to R50OCC and was used by Clarkson, Hammond and May at events including Top Gear Live. There is a letter of authenticity from Caterham in the history file. Caterham upgraded the engine to include Roller Barrel Throttle Bodies (RBTB's), turning it into a R400.
More recently the car was treated to a full repaint by Antony Whiting at TSK Autocentre and is presented in the same pearlescent white as R50OCC. The car had further re-commissioning at the same time (more information available to interested parties) and has been driven a handful of miles since. The condition is 'as new'. The car has recently been mapped by Steve Greenauld at Team LEOS and made 224bhp on their dyno.
