Black Beauty TVR Cerbera V8

For sale is my stunning 2004 Mk2 4.2 AJP V8 TVR Cerbera.

Registered in July 2004 it’s one of the last to roll off the production line (apparently 9 were made in 04 and 1 in 05). According to howmanyleft it’s 1 of 2 2004 Cerbera’s registered in the UK. It’s covered 56,000 miles, so is far from high mileage but is by no means a garage queen.

Despite it being registered as a 4.2 AJP V8, the bottom end is in fact a 4.5 with the top end being a 4.2. This was quite common towards the end of the production run. The 4.2 is known for being better behaved and easier to drive around town, whilst being more than you'll ever need when on the open road.

The Pure Black paint work is in good condition having been detailed and ceramic coated, using Gtechniq, in the last 6 months. The interior is black with grey carpets and black mats, with a stainless-steel dashboard. Again, in mostly very good condition, but showing signs of wear on the driver’s seat bolster and the gear stick gaiter. Included are factory fitted sun visors which seem to be pretty rare. The shadow chrome 18" alloys are totally unmarked and on recently replaced Goodyear Eagle F1’s (approx. 1,200 miles).

I’m the 4th registered keeper acquiring the car in February 2011. During my ownership the car has been serviced annually (since 2016 at TVR101), most recently an oil and spark plug change in June 2024. The last 12K service was in 2022, approx 2,500 miles ago.

A periodic upgrade of all the fuel hoses has recently been completed. The steering rack was refurbished in 2019 and a new power steering pump was fitted in 2022. The alternator was replaced in 2018 and a heavy duty starter motor has also been fitted.

The previous owner fitted a sports exhaust and Nitron fully adjustable shocks & spring set.
