With only 1963 examples built to commemorate 40 years of the 911, these cars are becoming more and more sought after as people begin to realise their rarity and the significant changes over the standard Carrera. The 40 Jahre’s were a narrow body Carrera and the exterior benefits from a Turbo bumper with painted inlets, 18” Carrera II Lightweight alloys (the only wheel option available on this model) and GT Silver metallic paint from the famous Carrera GT. Under the skin, this limited-edition model benefited from a 3.6 Litre flat six engine all with the X51 power package, a limited slip differential and a beautiful 6 speed manual gearbox.

Moving on to the interior, you will find the painted hardback heated sports seats as well as an Alcantara headlining and sunroof. Our example also benefits from the optional navigation system. This specific car has been very well preserved and shows few signs of its age.

The 40 Jahre is held in high regards by many Porsche enthusiasts and is considered to be one of the most desirable 996 models and we are delighted to be offering such an excellent example for sale.
