Subaru Impreza STI Wagon

So the time has come to move on my JDM STI Wagon (GGB-00224). Imported by me from Japan in 2022 after a long search, these were rare cares in Japan only being made for the 2001/2002 MY. Engine was either EJ207 DW3CR or C7; both gave 280ps @ 6400rpm and 373nm @ 4000rpm, available in silver, blue or white. Weight 1440kg.

On arrival it was then sent straight to HDC Subaru in Hebden Bridge. First MOT carried out at 58413km (36k miles) prior to conversion to MPH. Work included full wings-off underseal, timing belt replacement, and all fluids and filters including gearbox and diff. Speak to Howard at HDC who described it as one of the nicest he'd seen.

The car has not been mucked about with at all since then and is totally stock. It has just benefitted from a Stage 2 Detail at Topaz in Leeds, had all 4 wheels refurbed and a clean MOT for another year with no advisories. Pirelli P Zero Neros all round with tons of tread. Always run on Shell V-Power. Fluids and filters changed this year locally, and now showing 70871km (36k prior to conversion + 12k since = 48k miles).

There is a huge history file detailing the car's life in Japan including all the Japanese Shaken tests. Everything works and drives as it should, it has never missed a beat in my ownership and is so fast point-to-point and cross-country. Interior is clean and unmarked, still has the original parcel shelf for the boot. I have also fitted a modern Pioneer satnav / DAB / handsfree head unit so you're not stuck in the dark ages.
