Jensen FF Mark 1 - 1 of 2 Originally Black

First registered on the 01/08/1969 making this Jensen FF MK1 one of the very last to leave the factory.

One of only two cars originally finished in black, and the only one remaining according to Jensen experts.

Over the last three years, this car has been painstakingly restored to near concours condition by Car-iconics and their team of expert 3rd party suppliers.

All of the original parts have been refurbished and reused to make sure as much of the original car remains complete.

The interior was carefully removed and sent to a leather conservation specialist that cleaned, repaired and fed it (not painted), giving the interior a wonderful patina, whilst keeping the original leather that is so much nicer than the new leather that is available today.

Bodily, we started with what was fundamentally a very solid car, which was first paint, with a suite of photos to prove. We stripped the car to baremetal with a full photographic record, and repaired the panels by hand rather than buying aftermarket replacement items, all in the quest of keeping as much of the car intact as possible, and achieving the best panel fit. Anybody that understands restoration will know that this method is far more expensive than buying replacement panels.

All of the chrome work was professionally re-chromed by a leading UK specialist.

Mechanically, the engine has been fully rebuilt, along with the gearbox, and a huge recommission has been undertaken including a high torque starter motor, water pump, carburettor, brake calipers, pads, discs, exhausts to name a few.

We have full photographic evidence of the restoration, and a full file of invoices to back up the works.

The car runs and drives without fault and is a truly wonderful piece of important motoring history.
