Land Rover Series III Safari

First registered July 1981 (W Suffix) this very original Series III 88 Inch Petrol, County Station Wagon with desirable Safari Top remains a highly original example. In very good condition it has come to us from its local keeper who is well known to us. Finished in Old English White with Black Seven Seat Interior. The odometer is showing, 15,000 miles, (Unwarranted) although MoT history goes back to 2005 when 6,900 miles were recorded. Land Rover produced around 440,000 Series III Land Rovers between 1971 and 1985 with some development over the fourteen or so years of production, notably the improvement of the engines, (petrol and diesel) which were fitted with five bearing crankshafts from 1980. With a charm of its own this clean example has been given a nose to tail inspection in our workshops this included replacing rear brakes, new period external lights including new headlights. The underside was treated to a new exhaust and full underbody seal to protect the chassis ready for its next proud owner. This vehicle is MoT exempt. (however we have just put the car through an MOT). The doors are galvanised and hinges/bolts/window seals have all been replaced. This is 1 of 25 Land Rover cars we have in stock.
