FERRARI 812 SUPERFAST COMPETIZIONE

The Ferrari 812 Competizione is the result of the company’s vast experience of racing around the world and is said to be their ultimate expression of a front engine V12 Berlinetta. It combines the perfect combination of performance, functionality and form, and features many engineering solutions to guarantee peerless driving pleasure on an unprecedented level for a road-legal car. A limited production car of 999 models the Competizione is 38 kg lighter than the 812 Superfast thanks to carbon fibre body panels and bumpers, titanium conrods, a lighter crankshaft and a very low-friction diamond like coating on the piston pins. The distinctive carbon fibre blade across the bonnet is not just aesthetics but a clever way to hide the air vents for the engine, allowing for better airflow. Another feature is the removal of its rear window, which is has been replaced with three pairs of profiled elements. These act as vortex generators which redistributes the flow is directed towards the sides of the spoiler to help boost the cars downforce generation.

The interior very much reflects that of the 812 Superfast, retaining the main dash and door panel interfaces and volumes. The new door panel has been redesigned to reduce weight and, combined with the introduction of the H-gate theme on the tunnel, lends the cockpit a sportier, more modern edge that reflects the car’s racing spirit. Under the bonnet is the latest evolution of Maranello`s V12 engine. This has the highest output of any Ferrari road-car engine, 830cv and revs to 9,500 rpm, again the highest of any Ferrari. These figures have can be achieved thanks to the use of high-tech materials, a new exhaust system and new valve timing mechanism which help deliver this performance.

This 812 Competizione was first registered in January 2024 and has only covered 180 miles by its only owner. Presented in Verde Masoni gloss with a nero stripe and cuoio alcantara interior, the specification is vast and includes Ferrari F1 drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jnr`s signatures on the carbon fibre trim in the engine bay. Atelier specification gives the car more choice of options than the standard car allowing the customer to have a more bespoke look. Some of these bespoke options included the seats and glove compartment being fully covered in cuoio alcantara with a central stripe in tricolour leather. The central livery stripe in Nero on the exterior is also part of the Atelier options. The other options fitted to this car include airbrushed Scuderia shields, extensive carbon fibre includes the engine cover, inner parcel shelf, upper part of centre console, under door cover, rear diffuser, filter box, instrument cover, air intakes and inner door handles. This car is also equipped with front axle lift, front and rear parking cameras, passenger display, Carbon fibre racing seats in large size with lifter, a high-power Hi-Fi system, Apple CarPlay, adaptive headlights with SBL function, cavallino stitched on headrests, coloured mats with logo, 20" forged diamond racing wheels and a SVR anti-theft system with card.
