FERRARI 458 SPIDER - F1 DCT 2013

Launched at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2012, the 458 Spider was Ferrari's first mid-engine sports car to feature a fully-electric folding aluminium hard top.

It would also be the last Ferrari sports model powered by a naturally aspirated V8. As such, the 458 is now gaining renewed interest from those who appreciate the directness of a larger capacity engine without the need for turbo-charging or hybrid performance.

Regarded at the time of its introduction as the pinnacle of driver focussed sports cars, the superb and refined 4.5Ltr V8 provides an experience that is difficult to improve upon. Producing 570BHP and with a soundtrack that will sadly never be repeated, performance is effortless with 80% of the engines torque being available from just 3,000rpm. This was the first mid-positioned Ferrari road engine to feature direct fuel injection and is a delight in either normal road conditions or on the race track.

This superb example is finished in the desirable Grigio Silverstone metallic with full Paint Protection Film ensuring the body and paintwork are in ‘as new’ condition throughout. With optional full carbon fibre electrically operated racing seats finished in Sabbia leather, carbon fibre sports package and extensive use of carbon to both the drivers zone, dashboard and door sills is complemented by black carpets. In addition, the list of options specified from new includes 20" forged diamond cut alloy wheels, yellow brake calipers and yellow instruments, satellite navigation, reversing camera and the all-important front suspension nose-lift.

With a total of three owners, this excellent Ferrari 458 Spider has been regularly and thoroughly cared for with original handbooks comprising a full service history completed by Ferrari main agents and specialists - the most recent service having been carried out by Rardley Ferrari in May 2024 less than 200 miles ago.
