Lotus Elise Sport 135R

Designed as a road legal track car, this 2004 Lotus Elise Sport 135R is ideal for those looking to get the most of a car on both road and track. This example is number 105, making it one of the last 135R's built as there were only meant to be 100 made.

Hand crafted by Lotus Sport and Performance division, the 135R came with OZ racing wheels which had wider profile, more track focussed tyres, adjustable bilstein dampers and stiffer springs and an adjustable anti-roll bar. The cylinder head was ported and polished and mated to an aluminium inlet manifold and 52mm throttle body. The ECU was modified to allow greater output. Lastly, to showcase the track-readiness was the interior, which featured alcantara with carbon fibre fabric door panels, seats and gear tunnel, as well as a removable steering wheel. This 135R has also been fitted with a harness bar and Willans harnesses, making it ready to race!

In 2022, Maidstone Sports Cars replaced the dated Yokohama tyres with Avon ZZS's, which are fantastic for use on track. Having passed it's MOT in March 2024 with a fresh service, the car has not turned a wheel since and is ready to go.

There is a large vehicle history file, which covers all of the works the car has had since new. With only one previous owner, this car has been meticulously cared for, all of its life!
