Jaguar E-Type 4.2 2-Door FHC 2+2

Built 4th April 1967 this S1 4.2 FHC 2+2 was delivered to German distributor Peter Linder, Frankfurt, as a left hand drive auto gearbox example - British Racing Green with a black interior. Imported to the UK in 1991 it was the subject of a comprehensive restoration in 1997 which included a full rebuild of the original engine which it still retains and a colour change to red. At this time it was also converted to right hand drive and manual using a Jaguar 4 speed gearbox. A photo record of this work is with the car. Showing 67,431 miles the car remains in good general order, but could do with cosmetic detailing. The paintwork now BRG remains in good order as does the black leather interior but all is showing signs of age. Further work in 2022 included a new clutch, hi torque starter motor, alternator and fuel pump. A good running and useable E Type this car comes with a good history file, JDHT heritage certificate current UK logbook and an MoT until Feb. 2025.
