JAGUAR 'E' TYPE 1972

Recently completed 4yr nut and bolt restoration of this 1972 Series 3 OTS which includes the following desirable upgrades:

Electronic Fuel Injection using Jenvey throttle bodies and Emerald ECU. Power output 360bhp.

Wasted spark system (no distributor) and twin coil packs. These are mounted on a shelf ahead of the header tank which keeps the leads to the plugs short and away from heat. Much better spark than a regular distributor.

Classic Fabs 4 pipe exhaust system which improves gas handling and therefore performance. It also sounds meaningful!

In-tank fuel pump, regulated.

XJS 5 spd manual gearbox as well as XJS 2.88 diff. The Getrag box is bullet proof and suits the car well. The fifth gear plus 2.88 diff make for quieter driving at high speed on big roads.

Bespoke Nitron adjustable shock absorbers made for this car. Uprated torsion bars, antiroll bars front and back. There are also strengthening bars in the sills. Ride height front and back can be set to suit as well as reverb for a soft or harder ride.

Fosseway 6 pot calipers front/4 pot rear as well as Fosseway's handbrake system.

16" Realm Engineering D style wheels. Unlike wire wheels these don’t flex on hard cornering adding to better handling.

Aluminium radiator and header tank running Evans coolant. Two ten blade fans. Evans boils at a far higher temperature than water based coolants and prevents pressure build up in hoses. It also helps preserve head studs from rusting in the water jacket.

Electronic gauges.

Bespoke interior using Connolly leather, Wilton carpet, LED lighting, heated seats, Jaguar music system. New mohair hood. Dyna heat and sound deadening throughout.

Paint is Ferrari Titano Lucido. Stone chip has been used in the wheel arches which have then been painted in silver. The interior of the shell has been Raptor coated before painting. All panels have been sealed.

This is a very quick fast road car which handles extremely well due to the various upgrades. Since rebuild it has done less than 500 miles. Guaranteed you will not find another car with this build quality at this price.
