The E-Type debuted in 1961 at the Geneva Motor Show as a Fixed Head Coupe. The design was novel as it combined a hatchback design with a pure sports car. Total production of 3.8 coupes just 1,798 made in right-hand drive, making this one rare vehicle. Road tests of the period found the E-Type capable of rocketing to 60 mph in under seven seconds on its way to a 150 mph top speed.
