BMW 3.0 CSL

This CSL was subject to an earlier restoration. It has the cloth Scheel seats with the rare headrests. I have replaced the racing steering wheel with 38cm Petri wheel with correct screws and the correct boss and column plastic.

It has the D-Jetronic fuel injection system which is known to be reliable with parts readily available.

I have bought lots of parts from Walloth including indicators, lamps, brake parts.

Good originality.

Aluminium bonnet.

Aluminium doors.

Aluminium boot lid.

New parts not fitted:

Brake callipers.

Many others.

Bad points:

Needs a respray.

Not starting - fuel pump relay issue. Fuel pump works.

Tyres are old.

Part of rear inside bonnet missing. Cut out for something in the past. Alarm maybe?

Seat covers saggy.

Veneer to dash peeling.

Badges/roundels need replacing.

Engine replaced under warranty in the 70’s / 80’s.
