VW Mk2 Golf Gti 1988 37k miles Alpine white

Exceptional, all original, un restored, 37k mile, 1988 small bumper 8v Gti in Alpine white L90e .

Having been asked many times .....no, this car has not been restored it is completely original, with zero rust and is as it left the showroom 35 years ago..

I have owned it for over 15 years and spent most of that time cleaning it.. It lives under a cover in an insulated heated garage never getting wet . Recently had fluids, water pump and cam belt changed.

One of very few un modified cars left. I have taken it to a variety of shows and it has won many awards. Having had little use since the September before lockdown and with me getting no younger I am reluctantly advertising it for sale.

It has a Period Blaunpunkt Stereo unit (I have its working original dealers supplied unit and papers in storage) and It currently sits on NOS (a few years ago) factory option diamond cut VW 14” teardrop alloys.( I also have as new original 14” VW steels in boxes).

The car was on a personal number plate for several years but now wears it original number and original VAG embossed dealers plates.

Its 100% originality and level of clean makes it one of the very best I have seen over my years in the Mk2 community. You will struggle to find another like it .
