In late 2022, the car was acquired by specialist restorer GP Auto Design of Park Royal, London and they completed a comprehensive body restoration and full repaint to a very high standard. Restoration Details The works included: Replacement of both front wings, front and rear valance panels, and door skins Floor panel repairs and new wheel arch spats A complete repaint in BMW Marina Bay Blue Metallic with a Black roof, Black bumpers, headlight rims, and racing-style door mirrors (original colour when built was White) Interior refreshed with new black carpets, LED headlights, new badges, and a set of 12'' Mamba alloy wheels Mechanical and Interior The car retains its original 1275cc Mini Sprite engine and gearbox, both in excellent condition. The original Grey velour seats and trim remain in place, complemented by a leather steering wheel. Ownership and Documentation This Mini has had five former keepers from new – the first three being lady owners, with the most recent owner taking possession in February 2024 when we sold it to him on behalf of GP Auto Design. It is only being sold by him now due to his impending move to the USA.
