Launched in September 2007 the Honda Civic Mugen RR is the rarest and probably most desirable Honda Civic on the planet. Honda deemed it too track-focused for European buyers and so the four-door saloon was kept for the Japanese domestic market and all 300 cars were sold in under ten minutes.

The very special K20 engine produces 243bhp by utilising exclusive camshafts & valve springs and by tuning the intake and exhaust system.

The FD2 Honda Civic Mugen RR has also adopted a 6 speed manual transmission with short stroke shifter, Brembo brakes with slit rotors and stainless mesh hoses. Furthermore, the Mugen RR has shed over 10kg in weight making this a serious track car, yet maintaining usability for daily driving.
